Scout OP (Tanmay Singh): Age, Esports Career, Earnings and Bigg Boss 20

Share

Scout OP, written ScoutOP, is the gaming name of Tanmay Singh, an Indian PUBG Mobile and BGMI player, streamer and co-founder of Team XSpark, known to fans simply as Scout. He entered Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss 20 at the 6 September 2026 premiere, and his bond with contestant Love Gill has since made him one of the season’s most discussed names.

His public story has two halves. The first is a competitive career that peaked with a runner-up finish at a PUBG Mobile world league in 2020. The second is a creator business built on streams, sponsorships and his own esports team, which is where most of his money comes from.

  • Real name: Tanmay Singh
  • Gaming names: ScoutOP, Sc0utOP, Scout
  • Age: 30 as of October 2026, based on a 30 July 1996 birth date reported by Free Press Journal
  • From: Valsad, Gujarat, as reported by Free Press Journal
  • Games: PUBG Mobile, later Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI)
  • Team: co-founder of Team XSpark, now Revenant XSpark
  • Girlfriend: gaming creator Kaashvi Hiranandani

From football to PUBG Mobile: how Tanmay Singh became Scout

Tanmay Singh wanted to be a footballer before he was a gamer, and Free Press Journal reported in September 2026 that he trained with the aim of playing professionally until a hamstring injury ended that plan and pushed him toward gaming. The same report gives his birth date as 30 July 1996, which makes him 30 in October 2026; the age calculator works out the exact figure for any later date.

His professional esports career began in 2018, News18 and the Economic Times both reported when he joined Bigg Boss. PUBG Mobile was taking off in India at the time. His aggressive style and shooting made him one of the early recognizable faces of the competitive mobile scene.

He played for several of the best-known Indian rosters of that period, including TeamIND, Team SouL, Fnatic and Orange Rock. His biggest result came with Orange Rock, which finished second at the PUBG Mobile World League 2020: East, a placing esports.net called the highest finish by any Indian team in the PUBG Mobile era.

After PUBG Mobile, he kept competing in BGMI, News18 noted, while building a second career streaming his games and posting vlogs and other videos.

Team XSpark, Revenant and the creator business

Scout co-founded Team XSpark, a BGMI organization, and its lineup won the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) in 2024. He described the roster to esports.net in a 2024 interview in personal terms. “They are basically my brothers who live in my house under the same roof,” he said of his players.

In late 2024 the team joined Revenant Esports to form Revenant XSpark, with Scout as brand ambassador, and MarcaMoney reported in December 2024 that Revenant would also manage him exclusively. The announcement named past brand partners including Google, Monster Energy, Samsung and Adidas.

Television came before Bigg Boss. In September 2025 he hosted The Treasure Hunters on JioHotstar, a reality show in which 10 vloggers raced through seven challenges across Mumbai, Medianews4u reported. Former Bigg Boss contestant Manisha Rani was his co-host, and Scout also designed the hunt.

His audience underpins all of this: the Times of India put his following at about 4.4 million when he entered the house. The Economic Times added that his YouTube audience is believed to have crossed five million subscribers.

How much Scout OP earns, and whose figures they are

ScoutOP told Salman Khan at the premiere that he earns around Rs 30 lakh a month from gaming and content, the Times of India reported, and the figure rests on his word alone. YouTuber Ashish Chanchlani joked on X that the figure was too modest and called him “jhootha”, Free Press Journal noted.

Prize money looks like a small part of it. Esports Earnings lists $57,698.20 in total winnings from 22 tournaments. His largest single prize was $14,200 for a ninth-place finish at the PUBG Mobile World Invitational 2022: Afterparty Showdown.

Scout has said as much himself. In a June 2025 livestream reported by Sportskeeda, he said he had spent Rs 3.6 crore of his own money on Team XSpark over three years. “We only get 30% of the prize money. Esports is not for making money, it’s about the passion,” he added.

The yearly bar multiplies his Rs 30 lakh monthly claim by 12. Other figures come from Sportskeeda and the Times of India.

Twelve months at his claimed Rs 30 lakh comes to Rs 3.6 crore, the same total he says he put into XSpark across three years.

Neither figure has been confirmed by anyone else.

Net worth estimates come from the media, not from him. The Times of India wrote in October 2026 that media reports put his net worth at around Rs 20 crore. Free Press Journal cited a 2025 Sports Dunia estimate of Rs 15 crore to Rs 20 crore and called the YouTube income figures unconfirmed.

The largest known asset is the house he built for his parents. Mint reported that it cost over Rs 5 crore and took about three years, the Times of India said. His YouTube tour caption, quoted by ET Now, says two years. The tour shows five bedrooms, a private lift, a home theater and a gaming studio.

His cars are less certain: the Times of India mentioned a Ford Mustang GT and an Audi A6 from earlier reports, then added that no fully verified list of his current cars exists.

ScoutOP on Bigg Boss 20

Scout arrived at the premiere with video messages from Elvish Yadav, Abhishek Malhan and CarryMinati. Inside, he joined a group with Aamrapali Dubey, Yung DSA, Aasif Khan and Love Gill, the Times of India reported. Within weeks, his friendship with Love was drawing criticism from viewers and from the hosts.

His first major rebuke involved another housemate. During an October Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan faulted Scout and Yung DSA over their treatment of Qazi Touqeer, who had dengue, Deccan Chronicle reported. “Even people in jail are served food properly,” Salman told Scout about the way he served Qazi a meal, and both men later apologized. The Times of India reported on 13 October that Scout had told Aamrapali he would stop chasing Yung DSA for attention. Yung had complained that Scout spent more time with others, Love in particular.

The Love Gill bond reached a head at the Weekend Ka Vaar of 24 and 25 October, hosted by Rohit Shetty. His girlfriend, gaming creator Kaashvi Hiranandani, came on stage and told him to cut Love out. Scout apologized and said, “I don’t want to lose you for this show,” per the Times of India.

In the same exchange, Kaashvi said he had stood by her through a tumor. Kanika Mann, Aamrapali, Yung DSA, Aasif and Gullu defended him, per the Times of India and India Today. Viewers were split, and a late-October post on r/biggboss drew 58 upvotes for a blunt reaction.

“Scout really thinks he’s on top of the world. … If you have even an ounce of shame left, ask Bigg Boss to open the door and eliminate yourself.”
– r/biggboss, October 2026 (58 upvotes)

Earlier in October, when a clip of Kaashvi reacting on stream spread, one fan summed up the mood in fewer words:

“Someone commented: Scout bro played a bit too openly.😭”
– r/biggboss, October 2026 (20 upvotes)

Scout then nominated Love for eviction in the 27 October episode, Times Now reported, leaving her heartbroken. The nominations came out of a board-game captaincy task in which Scout, Yung DSA, Qazi, Uditi Singh and Gullu were placed in the safe green box. Her side of that week is set out in the Love Gill profile.

Salman Khan returned for the Weekend Ka Vaar of 31 October and turned on Scout. “You say she is like a sister to you, but you couldn’t defend her in front of your girlfriend,” he said, as quoted by Pinkvilla. He added that if Scout had made a false commitment, there was no one worse than him.

Scout reacted by threatening to walk out, Deccan Chronicle reported. Bigg Boss reminded him of the exit fee in his contract and called him to the confession room. Deccan Chronicle said it remained to be seen whether he would actually quit.
