Malti Chahar’s career before Bigg Boss
Malti Chahar started in beauty pageants and moved into acting and directing. Hindustan Times reported in October 2025 that she was second runner-up at Femina Miss India Delhi 2014 and also won the Miss Photogenic title there.

Her entry week set the tone for the rest of her stay. Hindustan Times described a cool reception from Tanya Mittal, who told housemates she did not find the newcomer impressive. Malti answered with a question about how many times Tanya had really flown to Dubai for baklava, and later challenged her account of her own “struggles”.
The rivalry turned physical in November. Moneycontrol reported on 25 November 2025 that Malti slapped Tanya during a task inside the house, and that many viewers called for strict action against her. Tanya stayed in the game and reached the final week.
