She then competed in Khatron Ke Khiladi 15 and was the second contestant out of its finale, Filmibeat reported on October 4, 2026, when Avinash Mishra won the season. The latest reports reviewed cover a crowd incident in Hyderabad on October 2 and a chat-show interview that News18 published on October 16.

Who is Farhana Bhatt?

Farhana Bhatt is an actress and peace activist from Srinagar in Jammu and Kashmir, Hindustan Times wrote on December 7, 2025. She made her film debut in 2016, appeared in Laila Majnu and Notebook, and drew a large following during Bigg Boss 19.

Moneycontrol’s profile of August 24, 2025, says she earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communication and journalism at Government College for Women in Srinagar. She then took a diploma in acting at Anupam Kher’s Actor Prepares school in Mumbai. The profile also lists her as a five-time national medalist in Taekwondo.

News18 added on December 7, 2025, that she represented Kashmir University at the Y20 and G20 forums. Free Press Journal and India TV, on December 8 and 9, 2025, both call her an actress and peace activist without describing specific campaigns.

Mint reported on December 7, 2025, that her Instagram following rose from about 43,000 before the show to over 2 million, while Zee News, which it cited, put the figure at 1.9 million.

How old is Farhana Bhatt?

Farhana Bhatt is 29 as of October 19, 2026. Moneycontrol on August 24, 2025, and Deccan Herald on December 10, 2025, both give her birth date as March 15, 1997, in Srinagar.

Mint and News18 wrote on December 7, 2025, that she was born in March 1997 without naming a day, which agrees, and Moneycontrol reported a birthday party for her in Mumbai on March 16, 2026.

One age figure does not fit its own date. Deccan Herald wrote “At 27” in December 2025, though a March 15, 1997 birth date made her 28 by then. Moneycontrol’s “27 year-old as of 2024” does fit.

What is Farhana Bhatt’s religion?

Deccan Herald described her on December 10, 2025, as raised in a conservative Kashmiri Muslim household. No report reviewed quotes Farhana Bhatt discussing her own faith.

NDTV carried an IANS report on November 12, 2025, about a troll who claimed actor Shoaib Ibrahim backed her because they share a religion. Ibrahim replied that he liked her game and had supported Karan Veer Mehra the year before. The report does not quote Bhatt.

Bigg Boss 19: the early eviction, the comeback and the clashes

Bigg Boss 19 premiered on August 24, 2025, Mint reported, and Hindustan Times wrote on December 7 that Bhatt stayed a constant headline-maker through her clashes with housemates.

The first-week eviction and the Secret Room

Mint reported on August 26, 2025, that housemates were asked on the Monday to name the contestant least deserving of staying. Kunickaa Sadanand, Mridul Tiwari and Baseer Ali, among others, named Bhatt and cited her attitude and rude behavior. Bigg Boss then told her that her journey ended there.

She packed her bags, but Bigg Boss revealed a twist and moved her to a Secret Room, where Mint said she could watch and listen to the house around the clock. She told mid-day on December 8, 2025, that it hurt because she had come directly from Kashmir and wondered what she would show her people after being sent out on the first day.

Mint noted on September 1 that she was back after spending days in the Secret Room, and Hindustan Times reported on December 7 that she returned with help from Gaurav Khanna. On the chat show Double Date, hosted by Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, she said people had “ganged up” on her in the first week and that her “rage for the people inside the house doubled,” News18 reported on October 16, 2026. She called the experience “challenging and overwhelming.”

Reported clashes and what each side said

Soon after her return, Baseer Ali moved her mattress into the pool and she threw pillows back at him, Mint reported on September 1, 2025. The two eventually settled into a cordial bond, Hindustan Times wrote on December 7.

The same Mint report has her calling Neelam Giri “Kunickaa ji’s sidekick” before Giri was seen in tears. A promo described by Moneycontrol on September 6 showed Salman Khan taking up one of her remarks about Giri, with Bhatt saying she was extremely angry and spoke in the heat of the moment.

Giri later charged at her during a kitchen row, and Bigg Boss reportedly warned both women, Moneycontrol wrote on October 22.

One of the most discussed rows came over a family-letter task. Hindustan Times explained on December 22, 2025, that shredding another contestant’s letter earned a place in the captaincy contention, and Bhatt shredded Giri’s. Free Press Journal reported on October 17 that Amaal Mallik then snatched food from her plate, threw it away and broke the plate. In an exchange of insults he made a remark about her mother, and a promo showed him apologizing.

Her team said on X that throwing food was “pure disrespect” and that comments about her mother were “beyond low,” Free Press Journal reported. Mallik’s team answered, “Everyone has crossed lines,” and pointed to the shredded letter. Bhatt told Farah Khan on a YouTube vlog that the others were “overacting” and that she knew she was right, Hindustan Times reported on December 22.

Mallik apologized again on August 29, 2026, Times Now reported, this time for a post about pairing her with “100 men.” He called it “blurted out in rage” and “disrespectful to your name.” He wrote that it followed months of insults and threats from a section of her fans, and asked her to tell fans to leave families alone. The report carries no reply from Bhatt. It adds that the two later made a music video, Yahin Guzaar Doon.

Did Farhana Bhatt win Bigg Boss 19?

No. Gaurav Khanna won Bigg Boss 19 on December 7, 2025, and Farhana Bhatt finished as first runner-up, Hindustan Times reported on December 8. Khanna took the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.

Mint’s finale report shows Amaal Mallik leaving first, then Tanya Mittal and Pranit More, which left Bhatt and Khanna as the final two.

She told Free Press Journal on December 8 that people may have preferred to support Khanna, adding “There’s no regret.” mid-day carried her view the same day that he won only because of his fans.

Khanna replied in an interview that Moneycontrol covered on December 18. He said he never answered her “undeserving” remark inside the show, that his actions speak louder than words, and that the audience decides the winner.

Farhana Bhatt was a contestant on Khatron Ke Khiladi 15, but the season has ended. Avinash Mishra won on October 4, 2026, and Bhatt was the second contestant to leave the finale, Filmibeat reported.

News18 called her the season’s third runner-up on October 16, 2026. Colors TV had named her among the first confirmed contestants on May 3, News18 reported, after she told Filmygyan, as India TV wrote on December 9, 2025, that she had received an offer.

India TV wrote on October 4 that the season was filmed in Cape Town and began on August 1, 2026, with 13 contestants. Avika Gor joined Bhatt’s team in a task and told her she had not wanted her there, India TV reported on August 17. Gor later apologized on Instagram for taking out her frustration on Bhatt.

Karan Wahi told ANI that his friendship with Bhatt on the show was not scripted, The News Mill reported on October 13. He said it began with a funny argument and grew through stunts shot in Cape Town.

The finale was shot in Mumbai on September 13, and host Rohit Shetty said he did not know the winner, Hindustan Times reported on September 14. It aired on October 3 and 4. India TV named the five finalists as Avinash Mishra, Bhatt, Rithvik Dhanjani, Karan Wahi and Orry. Filmibeat’s live blog says Wahi went out first and Bhatt second, after which Mishra beat Orry and Dhanjani.

What happened to Farhana Bhatt in Hyderabad?

Fans mobbed Farhana Bhatt at a fashion exhibition in Hyderabad on Friday, October 2, 2026. Her management team, Young Filmistan, said the venue became overcrowded, and outlets reported its statement on October 3 and 4.

Free Press Journal named the event as SheGlam Expo Season 3. The statement said the venue became “extremely crowded and difficult to manage,” which led to “pushing and jostling among people in the crowd, including women.” It added that “seeing anyone feeling uncomfortable or unsafe in such a situation is concerning.”

The team asked people to stop sharing videos of the incident, warning of “unnecessary negativity or personal attacks.” It also called for better crowd control at future events, NDTV reported on October 4. Bhatt reshared the statement on her own account.

None of the reports reviewed mentions an injury, a police complaint or a comment from the organizers. The account is her team’s, and the outlets relay it.

Free Press Journal reported on January 20 that Young Filmistan replied that he had been “trusted, supported” and that the trust was “met not with integrity, but with betrayal.” His posts also alleged links between her management and the show’s creative team. The report presents those as claims, cites no confirmation and says Bhatt made no official statement. Moneycontrol likewise said she and her team had not yet responded.

On January 21, Free Press Journal reported that she told a live session she would not take part in the reality show The 50, though she stayed open to other reality projects.

She appears in the Haryanvi hip-hop track No Snitching with Aarush Bhola and Varun Yadav, known as Laila, which came out on September 12, 2026, India TV reported.
