Nehal Chudasama’s pageant career and early life
Nehal grew up in Mumbai and studied at St. Rock’s School and the Thakur College of Science and Commerce, India TV reported in August 2025. She lost her mother at the age of 13 and was raised by her father, who later encouraged her to try modeling.
Her interest in pageants started with a broadcast. India TV wrote that her interest in modeling grew after she watched Manasi Moghe represent India at Miss Universe 2013, although she was hesitant at first. She went on to win Miss Diva Universe 2018 and represented India at Miss Universe 2018.
The win made her a local celebrity. Host Salman Khan was hard on her during the season. In one Weekend Ka Vaar he accused her of being jealous of Tanya Mittal and asked whether she had won her pageant or only taken part in it, Hindustan Times reported on 7 October 2025. The Indian Express added that he also told Amaal Mallik that Nehal had manipulated him.
Her friendships in the house became the main story after she left. Speaking to India Today on 28 October 2025, she said her bond with Farrhana Bhatt was real and that she had been villainized for a betrayal that did not happen. She called Farrhana “like my younger sister”. She also said she had been shocked when Gaurav Khanna nominated her.
